Verse 1

Come with thankful hearts before Him

Come with songs of joy and grace

For the Lord has kept His people

So we lift to Him our praise

He is worthy in the morning

He is worthy in the night

He is steadfast, He is holy

He is mercy, truth, and light

Chorus

Lift up your praise

To the One who reigns forever

Lift up your praise

Let the name of Jesus be exalted

Lift up your praise

Verse 2

When the burden has been heavy

When the road was hard to see

Still His goodness stayed before us

Still His hand has carried us

Now with gladness we remember

All the kindness of our God

And with every breath He gives us

We will raise our song to Him

Chorus

Lift up your praise

To the One who reigns forever

Lift up your praise

Let the name of Jesus be exalted

Lift up your praise

Bridge

Praise Him in the gathering

Praise Him in the quiet place

Praise Him for His faithful mercy

Praise the glory of His grace

Praise Him all you weary hearts now

Praise Him all who’ve been restored

Let the people He has rescued

Rise and bless the Lord

Bridge

Praise Him in the gathering

Praise Him in the quiet place

Praise Him for His faithful mercy

Praise the glory of His grace

Praise Him all you weary hearts now

Praise Him all who’ve been restored

Let the people He has rescued

Rise and bless the Lord

Final Chorus

Lift up your praise

To the One who reigns forever

Lift up your praise

Let the name of Jesus be exalted

Lift up your praise

Outro

Lift up your praise

The heart behind the song

A song for
praise.

Lift Up Your Praise exists to give listeners and gathered worshippers a clear way into praise. A stronger outward praise song that widens the room after the title-track declaration.

Explore the meaning

At its heart, the song treats praise as something to be received before it is performed. The focus is not on musical display, but on helping attention turn towards Jesus with language that feels plain, prayerful and singable.

The title gives the song its centre of gravity. Around that centre, the words and movement of the song hold exhortation and gathered confidence, making room for personal devotion and shared congregational response.

For listening and worship

For everyday listening, the song offers worship language for moments when praise needs to be remembered and sung, not merely understood.

For churches and worship leaders, it is shaped as a congregational lift: clear in focus, connected to the wider EP, and intended to serve gathered voices as well as personal prayer.
