Purpose

Why this release exists.

This EP exists to help people sing the truth that mercy has not run out. It speaks to the worshipper who feels too far away, too ashamed, too tired or too aware of their own need.

Rather than treating grace as a vague comfort, the release gives it shape: forgiveness, welcome, restoration, freedom from shame and the gentle kindness of Jesus.

Arc

The journey through the EP.

Mercy Still names the core promise first. Welcomed In then turns mercy into belonging, while Grace Upon Grace widens the room into a broader declaration of abundance.

No More Shame deals with the internal weight that mercy lifts, and Kindness of Christ closes the EP tenderly, landing the release in the character of Jesus rather than the failure of the worshipper.

The heart behind it

A release shaped for gathered worship and everyday listening.

Each EP is developed as part of a wider worship-serving catalogue: clear songs, careful themes and a human-led creative process that keeps theology, singability and pastoral usefulness in view.

Grace with a doorway

The release repeatedly moves from distance into welcome, giving the listener a sung path back into the presence of God.

No shame as the centre of healing

The EP does not minimise sin or failure, but it refuses to let shame have the final word.

Tender congregational language

The songs keep the hooks clear and warm so the release can serve both personal devotion and gathered worship.

For worship use

Created with the church in mind.

Mercy Still is part of a catalogue written to serve local churches, worship leaders and everyday listeners. The songs are intended to be clear enough to sing, focused enough to teach, and honest enough to carry prayer as well as praise.

The EP is available to purchase and stream on major music platforms, with worship resources shaped to support churches, leaders and listeners as the catalogue grows.

Human-led responsibility

AI-aided tools may help explore demos and arrangements, but final lyrical, theological, production and release decisions remain under Chrystopher James's care.

Part of a wider arc

This EP sits within the first-year GPW journey from surrender, faithfulness and grace through hope, holiness, the cross, resurrection, Jesus, praise and peace.
