Verse 1

What was buried in the shadows

What was broken by the fall

Met the mercy of the Saviour

When He rose and conquered all

Now the night no longer names me

Now the grave has lost its claim

Jesus, by Your resurrection

I am not the same

Chorus

This is my new creation song

This is the life You give

Jesus, You have made me new

Now by Your grace I live

This is my new creation song

Mercy rewrote my name

Christ is risen, I am Yours

And I will bless Your name

Verse 2

Where there once was fear and hiding

You have spoken peace instead

Where there once was shame and silence

Now Your hope is lifting heads

By Your Spirit You are forming

Hearts that once were bound by sin

Into people marked by freedom

Alive in You again

Chorus

This is my new creation song

This is the life You give

Jesus, You have made me new

Now by Your grace I live

This is my new creation song

Mercy rewrote my name

Christ is risen, I am Yours

And I will bless Your name

Bridge

You make all things new

Risen Jesus, life is found in You

You make all things new

Now we live because You do

Bridge

You make all things new

Risen Jesus, life is found in You

You make all things new

Now we live because You do

Final Chorus

This is my new creation song

This is the life You give

Jesus, You have made me new

Now by Your grace I live

This is my new creation song

Mercy rewrote my name

Christ is risen, I am Yours

And I will bless Your name

Outro

New creation song

The heart behind the song

A song for
resurrection.

New Creation Song exists to give listeners and gathered worshippers a clear way into resurrection. A personal-response song that brings resurrection into the worshipper's new identity and lived freedom.

Explore the meaning

At its heart, the song treats resurrection as something to be received before it is performed. The focus is not on musical display, but on helping attention turn towards Jesus with language that feels plain, prayerful and singable.

The title gives the song its centre of gravity. Around that centre, the words and movement of the song hold gratitude, joy and identity, making room for personal devotion and shared congregational response.

For listening and worship

For everyday listening, the song offers worship language for moments when resurrection needs to be remembered and sung, not merely understood.

For churches and worship leaders, it is shaped as a new-life testimony: clear in focus, connected to the wider EP, and intended to serve gathered voices as well as personal prayer.
